- Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL programming language.
- Provide production support for CICS transactions and DB2 databases.
- Troubleshoot issues related to JCL jobs, VSAM files, and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues through root cause analysis (RCA) and SDLC methodologies.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints by providing effective solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6-10 years of experience in Mainframe Development & Production Support with expertise in Batch Processing, Online Processing, Stored Procedures, and WMA.
- Bachelor's degree in Computers or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Solid understanding of IBM Mainframes systems architecture and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in working with various tools such as Cobol compiler, Cics transaction manager, Jcl editor etc.
