Role Description The Mahila Career Agent role at LIC is a full-time position based in Lucknow with a hybrid work model, combining on-site activities with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves identifying prospective customers, explaining suitable insurance and financial products, and assisting them in selecting plans that match their needs and goals. Daily responsibilities include meeting clients, conducting follow-ups, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting policy issuance and servicing.

Qualifications

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Customer service and relationship management skills, including follow-up, problem-solving, and long-term client engagement.
- Basic financial awareness and interest in life insurance, savings, and protection plans, with willingness to learn LIC’s product portfolio.
- Time management, self-motivation, and goal-oriented work habits suited to a hybrid field and office environment.
- Comfort using smartphones and basic digital tools for managing leads, policy information, and customer records.
- Minimum educational qualification typically at higher secondary level or above; additional education in commerce, finance, or business is an advantage.
- Prior experience in sales, financial services, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory; LIC training support will be provided.
- Ability to work in and around Lucknow, with readiness for local travel to meet clients and attend branch meetings.
