Letter of Credit Servicing - Trade Finance - 1 to 3 Years

We are hiring for Junior Analyst and Analyst positions in Structured and Documentary Trade (Letters of Credit) with a leading global banking organisation. These roles offer an opportunity to work across the LC transaction lifecycle, including issuance, amendments, documentation, fee processing, settlements, reconciliations, and exception handling. Candidates will contribute to accurate transaction processing, operational controls, and compliance while supporting trade finance activities for corporate banking clients.

Location - Chennai, Pune, Gurgaon, Mumbai.

Responsibilities -

1. Support LC issuance, amendments, extensions, cancellations, and expiry tracking.
2. Process LC commissions, fees, drawings, settlements, and payment instructions.
3. Review trade documents, track discrepancies, and ensure documentation completeness.
4. Reconcile LC balances, fees, cash movements, and exposures; investigate discrepancies.
5. Monitor past-due and expiring LCs and coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients.
6. Maintain transaction records, event trackers, and audit documentation in line with SOPs and control requirements.
7. Support compliance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational controls.
8. Review junior analysts' work as applicable to the Analyst-level position.

Requirements -

1. Junior Analyst: 01 year of experience in banking operations, financial services, accounting, loan servicing, or a related operational environment.
2. Analyst: 13 years of experience in trade finance or Letter of Credit (LC) operations.
3. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
4. Basic awareness of commercial and standby LCs for Junior Analyst; working knowledge of UCP 600, ISP98,



and SWIFT MT 700 series messages for Analyst.
5. Familiarity with Loan IQ and LC processing systems is preferred, particularly for Analyst-level candidates.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail, and clear written communication.
7. Willingness to work in ET (Eastern Time) shifts.
