- Teaching and Curriculum Development:Develop and deliver courses in library science, covering topics like information organization, cataloging, digital libraries, research methodologies, etc

- Create engaging lesson plans, lectures, and learning materials, and assess student performance

- Research and Scholarly Activities:Conduct research in areas related to library science, publishing scholarly articles, papers, or books, contributing to the academic knowledge base

- Apply for grants and funding to support research initiatives within the field

- Mentoring and Advising:Mentor students, provide academic advising, and supervise thesis or dissertation work for graduate students pursuing library science degrees

- Guide students in their academic and professional development

- Professional Service and Engagement:Engage in qualified activities, such as serving on academic committees, participating in conferences,



and contributing to professional associations

- Collaborate with other faculty members, librarians, and stakeholders to enhance the library science curriculum and programs

- Library Management and Administration:Provide expertise in library management, administration, and technological advancements within library systems

- Offer guidance on library policy development, collection management, and information access

Qualifications:Education:
