About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineering - Electrical to drive the engineering development of District Cooling System (DCS) projects across India. The role will be responsible for electrical engineering design, project feasibility assessment, utility infrastructure planning, techno-commercial evaluation, and technology selection for Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

The position offers an opportunity to work on large-scale cooling and utility infrastructure projects while contributing to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead preparation of concept designs, electrical system layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), technical specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Develop electrical engineering solutions for District Cooling and utility infrastructure projects.
- Prepare CapEx, OpEx, lifecycle cost analysis, and technical feasibility studies.
- Prepare technical specifications, scope of work, and tender documentation.
- Review engineering deliverables submitted by consultants, EPC contractors, and PMCs.
- Coordinate with utilities, government authorities, and relevant agencies for project approvals and permits.
- Evaluate cutting-edge technologies and energy-efficient solutions for utility and cooling infrastructure.




- Support technical due diligence activities for expansion and acquisition opportunities.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and OEMs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.

Desired Experience

- Experience in Electrical Engineering, Project Development, Utility Infrastructure, HVAC, MEP, District Cooling, Data Centers, Energy, or Industrial EPC projects.
- Strong exposure to Greenfield and Brownfield project development.
- Experience in electrical design review, feasibility assessment, cost estimation, tendering, and engineering management.
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, substations, power distribution, electrical infrastructure planning, and testing & commissioning.
- Understanding of captive power, renewable energy integration, electrical tariffs, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) will be an advantage.

Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
