Lead Design Engineer

Exp : 9 - 12 years

Location : Bangalore, Chennai

Enterprise Architecture &

- Solution Design :
- Define target architecture for T24 (Transact) including core banking modules (Accounts, Lending, Deposits, Payments) and integration architecture (API, OFS, IRIS, middleware).
- Design end-to-end banking solutions aligned to enterprise architecture principles.
- Ensure scalability, performance, resilience, and security of T24 systems.
- Define integration strategies with channels (Internet/Mobile Banking), payments systems (SWIFT, RTGS, SEPA), and third-party systems (CRM, AML, Risk).

Program &

- Delivery Leadership :
- Act as Architecture Lead for large transformation programs.
- Work with Program Director/PMO to define architectural roadmap, manage dependencies, and provide oversight across design, build, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with program governance, risk, and audit standards.

Client Engagement &

- Stakeholder Management :
- Serve as trusted advisor to client CIO, CTO, and business stakeholders.
- Lead architecture workshops, solution discussions, and design sign-offs.
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions and support pre-sales/RFPs.

T24/Temenos Expertise :

- Deep knowledge of T24 architecture (TAFJ/TAFC), Temenos frameworks (IRIS, Infinity, Payments Hub), OFS, APIs, jBASE, and Java components.




- Define customization vs configuration strategies and upgrade/release management approaches.

Integration &

- Technology Oversight :
- Architect integration using REST APIs, Microservices, and Middleware (MuleSoft, IBM).
- Drive adoption of Cloud architecture (Azure/AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Oversee data architecture, migration strategy, and data governance.

Governance &

- Quality Assurance :
- Establish architecture governance frameworks and conduct design, code, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards (ISO, PCI).

Tech Stack :

- T24 (TAFJ/TAFC), Java, jBASE, APIs, MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus, Azure, AWS, Oracle, SQL Server.

Functional Knowledge :

- Retail banking, corporate banking, lending, payments, and regulatory understanding (Basel, AML, KYC).

Leadership &

- Client Skills :
- Robust stakeholder management, client-facing consulting experience, and ability to operate at CIO/CTO level.

Preferred Qualifications :

- TOGAF/Architecture certifications, Temenos certifications, experience in multi-country banking rollouts, and exposure to digital banking platforms (Temenos Infinity).

Key Deliverables :

- Architecture blueprints, roadmaps, solution design documents, integration architecture designs, program architecture governance reports, and client proposals.
