- 8-12 years experience in Credit Audit, Internal Audit, Credit Risk, or Credit Underwriting within Banks/NBFCs

- Conduct credit audits across lending portfolios, identify risks and control gaps, prepare audit reports, review credit processes, and support risk-based audit planning

Role & responsibilities

- Conduct Credit Audits /credit functions covering Retail, MSME, Microfinance and other lending portfolios.

- Identify credit, operational and process risks, control gaps and policy deviations.

- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, highlight key risk observations and recommend corrective actions.

- Review credit appraisal, sanction, documentation, disbursement, monitoring and post-sanction controls.

- Assess adherence to Credit Policy,



Delegation of Authority, SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

- Review asset classification, provisioning, early warning signals (EWS), SMA/NPA accounts and portfolio quality.

- Track closure of audit observations and coordinate with Business, Credit, Risk and Operations teams.

- Support risk-based audit planning, thematic reviews and management reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

- 812 years of relevant experience in Credit Audit / Internal Audit / Credit Risk / Credit Underwriting within Banks/NBFCs.
