Lead Analyst / Principal Analyst – Strategic Intelligence

We are looking for a resourceful and commercially minded professional to join a Strategic Intelligence team supporting investment research. This is an chance to work at the intersection of research, relationship management, and strategic problem-solving, helping investment professionals deepen their understanding of companies, industries, and emerging market developments.

Responsibilities and Priorities

- Partner with investment teams to understand their research objectives and translate ambiguous requests into well-defined research projects.
- Identify, engage, screen, and secure relevant subject-matter experts to deliver high-quality insights.
- Assess expert suitability and prepare concise, well-documented profiles to support informed selection decisions.
- Manage expert outreach, consultations, stakeholder expectations, and project delivery across multiple concurrent assignments.
- Ensure all engagements adhere to applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external experts and internal stakeholders, including senior professionals.
- Exercise sound judgment in prioritizing requests, managing timelines, and escalating sensitive or complex matters.
- Drive process improvements, mentor team members,



and collaborate with technology teams to streamline workflows and strengthen operational effectiveness.

The Profile

- Relevant Experience: 4–10 years in expert networks, primary research, market intelligence, client solutions, strategic research, consulting, or related fields.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and manage expectations.
- Research and Problem-Solving: Ability to structure ambiguous requests, identify relevant sources of insight, and develop focused research approaches.
- Project Ownership: Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end, make independent decisions, and deliver within tight timelines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and concisely.
- Leadership: Experience mentoring colleagues, improving processes, and strengthening team capabilities.
- Integrity and Discretion: High standards of accuracy, confidentiality, attention to detail, and compliance awareness.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Law, Finance, or a related discipline.
