Job Summary The Laundry Assistant is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distributing hotel linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect and sort soiled linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.

- Operate washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, and other laundry equipment safely.

- Wash, dry, iron, fold, and stack linen according to hotel standards.

- Check linen for stains, tears, damage, and missing items.

- Separate items according to fabric type, colour, and washing requirements.

- Ensure the timely delivery of clean linen to housekeeping and other hotel departments.

- Handle guest laundry carefully and ensure timely return.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area.

- Use detergents and cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.

- Report damaged equipment, linen shortages, and maintenance issues to the supervisor.

- Follow hotel safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Assist with linen inventory and stock-taking when required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
