Job Title: Junior Accountant

About the Role The Luxury Trips is hiring a Junior Accountant to support our accounts team. You will keep the company’s books accurate and up to date, handle day-to-day entries, and support payments and tax compliance for our travel business.

Experience Required

- 0–1 year of accounting experience (freshers with strong fundamentals can apply)
- Experience in a travel company or service business is a plus

Required Skills

- Knowledge of basic accounting, bookkeeping and double-entry principles
- Working knowledge of Tally (or similar accounting software) and MS Excel
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential financial data

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily bookkeeping and post accounting entries accurately




- Prepare customer invoices, record receipts and follow up on pending payments
- Process supplier, hotel and DMC payments and keep records of them
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier and customer accounts
- Support GST and TDS filing and keep documents ready for audits
- Prepare month-end reports and MIS for management
- Work with the operations and sales teams to match bookings with payments

Preferred

- Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (B.Com / M.Com or equivalent)
- Experience with a travel CRM or ERP system
- Familiarity with foreign currency and supplier payments
