We are seeking a reliable Junior Facility Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day repairs and upkeep across our site. You will focus on quick-fix plumbing, minor electrical troubleshooting, and general handwork to keep our facilities running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

· Bulb Replacement: Swap out burnt-out light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, and LED fixtures.

· Outlet Repairs: Inspect and replace faulty wall switches, sockets, and faceplates.

· Basic Troubleshooting: Reset tripped circuit breakers and identify minor electrical faults.

Plumbing Upkeep

· Leak Repairs: Fix dripping faucets, leaking pipes under sinks, and running toilets.

· Unclogging Drains: Clear minor blockages in sinks, toilets, and floor drains using plungers or snakes.

· Fixture Installation: Install or replace basic hardware like showerheads, taps, and handles.

General Carpentry & Handyman Tasks

· Hardware Fixes: Repair or replace broken door handles, locks, hinges, and cabinet latches.

· Drywall Patching: Fill small holes in walls, touch up paint,



and repair minor surface damage.

· Furniture Assembly: Assemble, move, or adjust office desks, chairs, and shelving units.

Site Safety & Inspections

· Routine Checks: Walk the property daily to spot and report maintenance hazards.

· Safety Compliance: Keep walkways clear and ensure fire extinguishers are accessible.

· Tool Care: Maintain and organize company tools, keeping the workshop clean.

Qualifications & Skills

· Experience: 1–2 years of experience in general property maintenance or a similar handyman role.

· Technical Skills: Basic hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and hand tools.

· Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for long periods.

· Work Ethic: Robust problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward fixing issues.
