Henig Diamonds Ltd. is looking for an experienced Jewellery Merchandiser based in Mumbai to support our UK Buying Team. This role focuses on new product development, supplier sourcing, pricing, market research, and product presentation. You will collaborate closely with Indian suppliers and our UK buying, sales and dispatch teams to create commercial, well-priced diamond jewellery collections tailored specifically for the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Development & Market Research: Source new jewellery ideas from Indian suppliers, research UK jewellery trends and competitor price points, help develop natural and lab-grown diamond jewellery collections, suggest designs, stones, metals, and price points, and review UK client feedback to uncover current opportunities.
- Pricing & Supplier Sourcing: Find and compare suitable jewellery suppliers, request quotes, samples, CADs, images, and videos. Evaluate supplier prices, quality,



and production lead times while optimizing costs without compromising quality.
- CAD, Samples & QC Follow-Up: Review CADs and samples against product briefs (design, proportions, finish), manage supplier revisions, work alongside the India QC team, and escalate critical quality findings to the UK Buying Team.
- Product Presentation & Team Support: Prepare comprehensive product proposals for the UK team featuring product ideas, supplier options, cost/selling price breakdowns, competitor comparisons, and clear risk/QC highlights.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in jewellery merchandising, product development, diamond jewellery, and jewellery manufacturing.
- Education: Preferred, not mandatory formally qualified in jewellery designing.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable reading and understanding jewellery CADs, plus strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data management and reporting.
- Communication & Soft Skills: Excellent spoken and written English skills, strong commercial awareness, data analysis capabilities, and the confidence to challenge suppliers on pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- International Exposure: Prior experience working with UK, US, or international clients is strongly preferred
