Job Summary

We are looking for a smart, professional, and customer-focused Jewellery Consultant with strong sales and communication skills. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting jewellery and diamond products, explaining product features, preparing quotations for customised jewellery, building long-term customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service & Sales
- Welcome and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Understand customer preferences, budgets, and requirements to recommend suitable jewellery and diamond products.
- Present product features, designs, quality, and value to support customer buying decisions.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process.
- Jewellery & Diamond Knowledge
- Demonstrate good knowledge of gold, diamond, and other jewellery products, including designs, quality, and pricing.
- Explain diamond characteristics, including the 4Cs: Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat, as applicable.
- Stay updated on jewellery trends, new collections, and product offerings.
- Provide accurate product information and handle customer queries confidently.
- Customised Jewellery & Quotations
- Understand customer requirements for customised and made-to-order jewellery.
- Coordinate with the design, production,



and other relevant departments to fulfil customer requirements.
- Prepare and explain quotations for customised jewellery, ensuring pricing and specifications are accurate.
- Follow up with customers on quotations, orders, and delivery timelines.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Focus on customer retention, repeat purchases, and referrals.
- Follow up with customers regarding enquiries, purchases, current collections, and special occasions.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Team Coordination & Sales Operations
- Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth sales operations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, preferences, quotations, and sales transactions.
- Support product displays, merchandising, and showroom presentation.
- Ensure proper handling and presentation of jewellery products in accordance with company policies.
- Reporting & Administration
- Maintain basic sales reports and customer databases.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant sales software for daily activities.
- Assist in monitoring sales performance, customer feedback, and follow-up activities.
- Follow company policies, pricing guidelines,



and jewellery security procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in jewellery retail sales preferred.
- Good knowledge of jewellery, diamonds, and jewellery product offerings.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.
- Smart, presentable, confident, and professional personality.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Basic computer knowledge, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and achieve sales targets.
- Strong customer service orientation and a focus on customer retention.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a confident, well-groomed, and customer-oriented professional with proven jewellery retail sales experience, good diamond and jewellery knowledge, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships while consistently contributing to business growth. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
