- Operate the JCB safely for loading, unloading, shifting and handling scrap and other materials within the factory premises.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks, including fuel, engine oil, hydraulic systems, tyres and other essential components.
- Ensure proper handling and movement of materials as instructed by the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure the safe parking of the JCB after operations.
- Monitor fuel consumption and maintain daily machine usage records.
- Report mechanical faults, breakdowns and maintenance requirements to the concerned supervisor immediately.
- Follow factory safety rules, wear the required PPE and ensure safe operation around workers and vehicles.
- Coordinate with the Production,
Stores and Dispatch teams for material movement.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating a JCB or backhoe loader.
- Valid driving licence and relevant operator certification, as applicable.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing factory operations is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and safety procedures.
Reporting To: Factory In-Charge / Operations Supervisor Key Requirement: Safe machine operation, timely material movement and proper equipment maintenance.
