Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE development and JBoss application server technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise Java applications in a production environment.

Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is an added advantage. The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and J2EE technologies.
- Develop and maintain applications deployed on JBoss/WildFly application servers.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services with internal and external systems.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate fixes.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Work with relational databases, SQL queries, and data integration processes.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support application deployments, configuration management, and production releases.
- Follow established coding standards, development best practices, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Work on system integrations and data exchange processes, including EDI integrations where applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with Java/J2EE technologies, including Servlets, JSP, JDBC, and related frameworks.
- Hands-on experience deploying,



configuring, and troubleshooting applications on JBoss/WildFly application servers.
- Experience developing REST APIs and web services.
- Working knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with application debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and enterprise system integrations.
- Familiarity with EDI standards such as ANSI X12 or EDIFACT.
- Experience with EDI transactions such as 850 (Purchase Order), 856 (Advance Ship Notice), 810 (Invoice), or 997 (Functional Acknowledgment).
- Exposure to EDI integration platforms, middleware, message transformation, and partner connectivity.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and application deployment automation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will combine strong Java development skills with practical JBoss application server experience. Candidates with additional EDI integration experience will be preferred, particularly those who have worked on enterprise applications involving external trading partners and business-to-business data exchange.

Pay: Up to ₹2,300,000.00 per year
