Responsibilities

- Maintain and manage the inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, and peripheral equipment.

- Track hardware assets throughout their lifecycle: procurement, deployment, maintenance, transfer, and disposal.

- Ensure accurate asset records in ITAM tools such as ServiceNow HAM, Flexera, Ivanti, BMC Helix, or Lansweeper.

- Monitor asset compliance and ensure adherence to organizational policies and audit requirements.

- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for hardware purchases, renewals, warranty management, and replacements.

- Conduct periodic asset audits and physical verification of hardware inventory.

- Manage asset allocation, movements, returns, and recovery during employee onboarding and offboarding.

- Track warranty, lease, and support contracts to ensure timely renewals.

- Generate asset utilization, depreciation, and inventory reports for management.





- Ensure secure and compliant disposal of end-of-life hardware assets.

- Work closely with IT support, procurement, finance, and security teams to maintain accurate asset data.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical assets and asset management records.

- Support software-hardware reconciliation and configuration management activities.

- Maintain CMDB (Configuration Management Database) accuracy and data integrity.

- Assist in implementing asset management processes, standards, and continuous improvements
