Why this role exists

As Morulaa expands its digital platforms and global client footprint, maintaining robust, compliant, and audit-ready IT infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks is critical. We are seeking a proactive, hands-on IT & Security Operations Lead (2-3 years of experience) to manage internal IT operations, secure cloud environments, and enforce strict data protection protocols. Designed as a high-impact position, this role directly supports our ISO 27001/HIPAA compliance posture, client data security requirements, and internal systems reliability in a quick-paced HealthTech environment.

What you'll do

- IT Infrastructure & System Administration: Manage office network infrastructure, user provisioning/deprovisioning, hardware lifecycle, identity access management (IAM), and endpoint security management (MDM, antivirus, patch management).
- Information Security & Data Protection: Implement, monitor, and enforce information security policies to safeguard sensitive client data, internal IP, and platform infrastructure against threats and unauthorized access.
- Compliance & Audit Readiness: Assist in aligning internal IT and operational processes with ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and client vendor security assessment standards.



Support internal and third-party security audits with accurate digital logging and documentation.
- Incident Response & Risk Management: Monitor cloud and network security alerts, perform vulnerability assessments, manage patch schedules, and lead swift incident handling and root-cause analysis (RCA) for any security or IT disruptions.
- Vendor & Service Management: Support cloud/SaaS tool procurement, manage software licenses, oversee IT vendor relationships, and maintain enterprise SLAs for internal technology support.

What success looks like (KPIs)

- System Uptime & SLA: Maintain ≥ 99.5% uptime across internal systems, infrastructure, and IT support resolution SLAs.
- Audit & Compliance Readiness: 100% completion and accuracy of access logs, asset registers, and security audit documentation with zero major non-conformances.
- Patch & Vulnerability Management: 100% on-time deployment of critical software patches and prompt remediation of identified system vulnerabilities.
- Incident Resolution: Zero critical security breaches and swift time-to-detect/time-to-respond for security events.

What you bring

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related engineering background.
- Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IT operations,



system administration, and network/cloud security.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, firewalls, IAM, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and endpoint security management.
- Tool Skills: Proficiency with enterprise IT tools (Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 administration, MDM solutions, JIRA, SIEM/monitoring tools, and ticketing systems).
- Communication & Detail: Excellent technical documentation skills, high integrity when handling confidential data, and clear cross-functional communication.

Nice-to-haves

- Prior exposure to working in HealthTech, MedTech, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 compliant environments.
- Hands-on familiarity with basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for operational automation.
- Industry awareness or early-career certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer awareness).

How this role is different from a typical IT Lead role Unlike traditional corporate IT roles focused solely on hardware support and helpdesk tickets, you will operate at the intersection of enterprise IT, cloud infrastructure, and regulatory data compliance in a technology-driven HealthTech company. You will actively shape Morulaa's data security governance, interact directly with security compliance frameworks, and build audit-ready IT operations as we scale.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
