Role Summary The IT Asset Management Procurement L1 Engineer is responsible for end-to-end IT asset lifecycle management, procurement governance, vendor management, asset compliance, reporting, automation initiatives, and process improvements. The role works closely with HR, Finance, Procurement, Security, and Business teams to ensure effective asset governance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete IT asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
- Own hardware asset procurement planning and forecasting.
- Review and approve procurement requests based on business needs and budgets.
- Manage vendor performance, contract compliance, and SLA adherence.
- Drive asset reconciliation between Asset Register, CMDB, and Finance FAR records.
- Conduct periodic asset audits and ensure compliance readiness.
- Manage capitalization, de-capitalization, and fixed asset tracking activities.
- Maintain ITAM dashboards, KPIs, and management reports.
- Analyze asset utilization and recommend optimization strategies.




- Support internal and external audits.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with HR, Finance, Procurement, Security, Payroll, and Location IT teams.
- Manage aged assets, warranty tracking, AMC renewals, and technology refresh projects.
- Prepare executive management summaries and quarterly reviews.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management and Procurement processes.
- Experience in ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, ALM, Manage Engine, or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of Fixed Asset Register (FAR) reconciliation.
- Understanding of procurement lifecycle, contracts, and vendor management.
- Experience in audit compliance and asset governance.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, and reporting skills.
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in process automation and workflow design.

Preferred Certifications

- ITIL Foundation/Intermediate
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) (Preferred)
- ServiceNow ITAM Certification
- PMP or PRINCE2 (Preferred)
