Inventory Manager - Retail Stores A retail chain running about forty stores in the south, supplied from a single distribution centre
Forty stores, one DC, and too many shelves that are either empty or overflowing. Store teams raise manual indents, shrinkage is reported late, and seasonal stock often arrives after the season has started. The Inventory Manager will fix the flow between the DC and the stores so that the right stock is on the right shelf, and so that shrinkage is caught in weeks rather than at the annual count.
The chain has partnered with Flexiple for this hire. You will run store replenishment rules, the DC and store cycle-count calendar, shrinkage and damages reporting, and the returns loop back to vendors,
working closely with category managers and the store operations team. Location: Remote (India)
- 6 to 9 years in retail inventory, merchandising operations or DC management
- Experience with auto-replenishment and store-level stock audits
- Solid command of a retail ERP or POS reporting and Excel
- Track record of bringing shrinkage or stock-outs down measurably
