Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and client-focused Interior Designer to manage residential interior projects from concept development to design finalisation and coordination with the execution team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Meetings & Requirement Gathering

- Meet clients to understand their requirements, lifestyle, preferences, budget and expectations.
- Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements.
- Prepare space-planning concepts and design proposals based on client requirements.

2. Design Development

- Develop 2D layouts, furniture plans, working drawings and 3D visualisations.
- Design kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, beds, storage units, false ceilings and other residential interior elements.
- Suggest suitable materials, finishes, colours, laminates, hardware and accessories.
- Ensure designs are functional, aesthetically appealing and aligned with the approved budget.

3. Client Presentation & Design Finalisation

- Present design concepts, layouts, material selections and 3D views to clients.
- Incorporate client feedback and revise designs wherever required.
- Coordinate design approvals and ensure timely completion of the design stage.

4. Technical Drawings & Documentation

- Prepare detailed working drawings, elevations, sections and furniture drawings.
- Coordinate electrical layouts, false ceiling plans, plumbing requirements and civil-work drawings.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, practical and suitable for execution.
- Maintain updated drawings and project documentation.

5. Coordination with the Execution Team





- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, contractors and vendors.
- Clarify design-related queries during execution and resolve drawing discrepancies.
- Conduct site visits to ensure work is progressing according to approved designs.
- Ensure design intent, quality standards and client expectations are maintained.

6. Project Management & Timelines

- Manage multiple residential projects simultaneously.
- Ensure timely delivery of concepts, 3D designs, working drawings and material selections.
- Coordinate with the sales and execution teams for a smooth project handover.
- Keep clients and internal teams updated on design progress and pending approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
- Experience in residential interior design is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, along with relevant 3D rendering software.
- Working knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture detailing and interior execution.
- Positive communication, presentation and client-handling skills.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, design and execution teams.

- Timely completion of design concepts and working drawings.
- Quality and accuracy of 2D drawings and 3D presentations.
- Client satisfaction and design approval turnaround time.
- Effective coordination with site and execution teams.
- Adherence to project budgets and design specifications.
