Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and independent Interior Designer to handle interior design and planning for our restaurants and upcoming projects. The candidate will be responsible for space planning, 2D drafting, technical drawings, and regular site visits to ensure the execution of designs as per approved plans.

Note: This role does not require 3D modelling or 3D visualisation. The primary focus is on 2D drawings, technical detailing, space planning, and in office coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D interior drawings and technical layouts for restaurants and other hospitality spaces.
- Develop space plans, furniture layouts, seating arrangements, and circulation plans to optimise functionality and guest comfort.
- Prepare floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and interior detailing drawings as required.
- Work on restaurant layouts, including dining areas, kitchens, service areas, reception counters, bars, and other operational spaces.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Take site measurements and assess existing site conditions before preparing drawings.
- Identify site discrepancies and provide practical design solutions during execution.
- Assist in material selection, finishes, furniture specifications, lighting layouts, and interior detailing.
- Review drawings, incorporate revisions, and maintain updated project documentation.




- Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, operational, and space-utilisation requirements specific to restaurant interiors.
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate timelines to support timely execution.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp for layout planning and design development,
- Good understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, interior detailing, and material specifications.

Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design.
- Experience in restaurant, café, hotel, or other hospitality interior projects will be strongly preferred.
- Candidates with practical site execution and contractor coordination experience will have an advantage.

Required Skills
- Strong technical drawing and space-planning skills.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and site measurements.
- Practical understanding of interior materials, finishes, and construction details.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage site visits across Mumbai.
- Strong attention to detail and execution quality.

Important Hiring Criteria

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹46,000.00 per month
