Role Description The Instrumentation Engineer will work on-site in Anantapur in a full-time capacity, supporting the instrumentation systems across the integrated steel plant.

Responsibilities include designing, installing, and maintaining process control and instrumentation equipment to ensure reliable and safe plant operations. The role involves monitoring instrument performance, diagnosing issues, and performing troubleshooting, calibration, and repairs to minimize downtime.

The Instrumentation

Engineer will collaborate with electrical, mechanical,



and production teams to optimize control systems, implement improvements, and support new projects and upgrades. This position also requires maintaining documentation, adhering to safety and quality standards, and contributing to continuous process efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in instrumentation and process control for industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Robust skills in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and problem resolution for control and measurement systems.
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering principles related to sensors, actuators, wiring, and control panels.
- Hands-on experience with calibration of field instruments, analyzers, and control devices.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA/DCS systems, and automation standards is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety practices, industrial standards, and preventive maintenance routines in heavy industry.
- Ability to work on-site in a steel plant environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage priorities.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.
