- Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in installation, calibration, testing and commissioning of industrial instrumentation.
- Experience in maintenance of pressure, differential pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments, control valves and transmitters.
Knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, SCADA, industrial communication protocols and process control systems.

- Key Process Engineering Responsibilities:

- Supervise installation, calibration, loop checking, testing and commissioning of field instruments.
- Review P&IDs;, instrument index, instrument datasheets, hook-up drawings and instrument cable schedules.
- Prepare/review instrument layouts, loop diagrams, termination drawings and interlock/control logic documentation.
- Coordinate PLC/DCS, SCADA, field instruments and control panel integration.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for installation,



troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Verify instrument signals, alarm settings, control loops and interlocks.
- Maintain calibration records, loop-check reports, instrument documentation and maintenance schedules.
- Support process control optimization, plant start-up and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with instrumentation standards, process safety and site safety requirements.
- Finalise purchase orders for instrumentation equipment, consumables and spares, and systematically monitor warranty periods, warranty claims and timely rectification of defects by suppliers.
- Formulate, implement and monitor Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules for instrumentation systems and equipment to minimise breakdowns and improve plant availability.
- Identify, stock and periodically review consumable items and critical instrumentation spares, ensuring availability for uninterrupted plant operation while optimising inventory levels and procurement lead times.
