Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation qualified for a chemical manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for plant instrumentation, preventive and shutdown maintenance, plant safety, and spare planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle plant safety and instrumentation maintenance activities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot pressure and level transmitters, gauges, control valves, PLC, DCS, and plant automation systems.
- Maintain fire and gas detection instruments, limit switches, RTDs, and thermocouples.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of plant instruments and control systems.
- Perform shutdown maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of maintenance work.
- Plan and manage instrumentation spares to ensure availability when required.
- Ensure proper functioning and reliability of instrumentation systems.
- Maintain basic computer-based maintenance records and reports.
- Follow plant safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in instrumentation maintenance within the chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of PLC, DCS, plant automation, and field instruments.
- Experience in preventive maintenance, shutdown maintenance, and spare planning.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
