Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Instructor to explain educational concepts through product demonstrations and guide students in hands-on learning activities using the interactive educational products installed at Periyar Grand Library. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with children and students, have positive communication skills, and be willing to learn and deliver engaging educational sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Explain scientific concepts and educational topics through live product demonstrations.
- Guide students in hands-on activities using STEM models, science exhibits, and interactive learning equipment.
- Conduct engaging and interactive learning sessions for school students and visitors.
- Explain the purpose, working principles, and practical applications of each exhibit in simple language.
- Encourage students to participate, ask questions, and explore concepts through experiments and activities.
- Assist teachers and groups during educational visits and demonstrations.
- Ensure the safe and proper usage of all exhibits and equipment.
- Maintain discipline and follow visitor safety guidelines during sessions.
- Check the condition of exhibits and report technical issues or maintenance requirements to the concerned team.
- Keep the demonstration area clean, organized, and ready for visitors.
- Coordinate with the library team and management for scheduled demonstrations and group visits.
- Collect feedback and share daily activity updates with the reporting manager.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any Degree or Diploma; candidates with a science or technical background will be preferred.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience may apply.
- Good verbal communication skills in Tamil and basic English.
- Interest in science, technology, education, and interactive learning.
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and confidently to children and students.
- Friendly, patient, responsible, and enthusiastic approach.
- Willingness to work at the assigned location in Coimbatore.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
