1.KEY POSITION DETAILS

Role Designation: Instrument Technician Experience Needed: 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Oxygen Plant, Nitrogen Plant, or CNG Plant Monthly Salary: Up to ₹32,000 Gross per month (Negotiable based on experience and interview performance) Accommodation: No accommodation provided (Candidate must arrange own stay) Selection Process: Direct Technical Interview

1. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY Education: Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering Industry Background: Hands-on work experience in Oxygen (ASU), Nitrogen, CNG, or continuous process plants Core Technical Skills: Fault-finding in 4–20 mA current loops, reading P&ID; and loop schematics, using HART communicators Safety Standards: Understanding of Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), and hazardous area safety procedures
2. MAIN WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Calibration & • Testing: Routine inspection, calibration, and maintenance of pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters. Temperature &
- Pressure Units: Work on RTD sensors (Pt100), thermocouples, pressure gauges, switches, and differential pressure units.

Control

Valves &

• Positioners: Valve stroke checking, gland packing adjustments, and calibration of smart positioners (Fisher, Siemens, Metso).





Gas Analyzers: Regular maintenance, zero calibration, and span checking of Oxygen, Nitrogen purity, and moisture analyzers using standard test gases.

DCS / PLC Loop Checks: Verification of signal continuity from field junction boxes to control room marshalling cabinets. Preventive &

- Breakdown Maintenance: Timely response to plant breakdowns and executing daily/weekly scheduled preventive maintenance. Safety &
- Interlocks: Functional testing of gas detectors, emergency shutdown trip valves, and plant safety trip interlocks.

- EQUIPMENT & • INSTRUMENTS HANDLED Transmitters &

- Sensors: Pressure Transmitters (PT/DPT), Temperature Transmitters (TT), Flow Transmitters (FT), and Level Gauges/Switches. Valves &
- Actuators: Pneumatic control valves, Solenoid valves (SOV), Air Filter Regulators (AFR), and Motor-Operated Valves (MOV). Tools &
- Calibrators: Handheld HART communicators (Emerson 475 / Trevis), mA current calibrators, and digital multimeters.

Plant Systems: Air Separation Units (Oxygen/Nitrogen), CNG compressor stations, and associated utility piping systems.

Significant Note: Candidates with practical, hands-on experience in field calibration and quick troubleshooting during plant continuous running will be given preference during the interview. Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
