Strict Hiring Criteria – Sales Team Leader

Wordsmith is hiring a Sales Team Leader for the Tamil education industry.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Fluent in both Tamil and English – speaking is a must. If you cannot speak Tamil, please do not apply. Such applications will not be shortlisted.
- Must have BPO telesales experience with Sales Team Leader experience. Candidates without both these experiences will not be be shortlisted.

Job Title: Head of Telesales Team (100 % REMOTE)

Company: Wordsmith Learning Hub, Singapore

Job Location: Work from Home

Salary: INR 85,000 – INR 2,41,000 (Basic + Incentive)

Exp: min 5 yrs in Telesales team managing (Education industry preferred)

Time: 8 am - 6 pm - one hour lunch, Sat-Sun - 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Sat-Sun compulsory working

Salary Range

INR 50,000 – INR 80,000 (Basic)

INR 35000 - INR 1.61,000 (Incentive)

If 100% target achieve, total take home salary will be INR 85,000 – INR 2,41,000

Wordsmith is looking for a dedicated Sales Team Leader who has:

- Solution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to identify sales challenges, think strategically, and find practical solutions to improve conversions and business growth.

:

- Make sales calls to company-provided leads. Product training will be provided.
- Follow up with leads on alternate days and address their queries.
- Handle WhatsApp queries in English and Tamil, including reading, writing and speaking.
- Explain Wordsmith products, handle customer queries and close enrolments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects.
- Lead the sales team and drive weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Support the team with Level 2 calls, objection handling and closure.
- Handle Individual Contributor (IC) duties when required.
- Develop sales strategies based on market needs and research.
- Work closely with the marketing team on lead generation, campaign optimisation and effective hooks.
- Collect and analyse market data to support product promotion.
- Recruit, train and onboard new team members on products and sales techniques.
- Work with the company to improve sales processes and support business growth.
- Handle additional duties as required.

Requirement:

· Diploma/Degree with min 5 years of work experience in Telemarking team handling (experience in Telesales is a must)

· Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.

· Results-driven mindset with a passion for sales and a willingness to go above and beyond to drive business growth.

· Must have a Power Backup (UPS) in working space at home near your desk
