– Incoming Quality Inspector (IQC) Industry: Hydraulic Pump Manufacturing Department: Quality Control / Quality Assurance Job Title: Incoming Quality Inspector Job ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming raw materials, mechanical components, and purchased parts received from suppliers. Check hydraulic pump components such as shafts, pistons, seals, bearings, valves, and machined parts. Verify component dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.

Check components against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Verify supplier inspection reports, material certificates, and other quality documents. Identify defective, damaged, or out-of-specification materials and report them to the Quality Engineer.

Prepare incoming inspection reports and maintain inspection records.



Segregate rejected materials and coordinate with the purchase and stores departments. Support supplier quality issues and corrective action activities.

Follow quality procedures, safety requirements, and 5S practices.

Required

SkillsBasic knowledge of mechanical components and engineering drawings. Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers. Basic understanding of dimensional inspection and quality control. Attention to detail and documentation skills. Knowledge of hydraulic components is an added advantage. QualificationITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification. ExperienceFreshers or experienced candidates, depending on company requirements.
