Injection Molding Production Supervisor

Department: Production - Plastic Injection Molding Experience: 7-8 years

Employment: Full Time, Permanent Location: To be confirmed

Role Summary

Responsible for supervising injection molding production, achieving daily targets, managing manpower, optimizing machine efficiency, minimizing rejection and downtime, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Execute daily and shift-wise production plans; monitor machine-wise output, efficiency and manpower allocation.

Supervise injection molding operations, machine startup/shutdown, process parameters, cycle time and mold changeovers.

¢ Identify and resolve defects including flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage and burn marks; coordinate corrective actions with Quality.

¢ Reduce rejection, rework, scrap and machine downtime; coordinate breakdowns and preventive maintenance with

Maintenance and Tool Room.

¢ Ensure raw material availability, proper handling, identification, traceability and controlled regrind use.

¢ Maintain daily production reports, rejection records, downtime analysis,



shift handovers and OEE tracking.

¢ Train operators, maintain discipline, ensure PPE compliance, workplace safety and 5S standards.

Required Skills

¢ Injection molding process and machine operation; molding defect troubleshooting; production planning and control.

¢ Cycle time optimization, rejection reduction, OEE improvement, manpower management, mold changeover coordination and reporting.

¢ Experience with automotive plastic components preferred.

Qualifications

¢ Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Plastics or Production Engineering; CIPET qualification preferred.

¢ 7-8 years of plastic injection molding production experience, including shop-floor supervision.
