We are hiring Import Freight Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating import freight shipments from receipt of the packing list until shipment arrival, ensuring timely booking, competitive freight rates, complete documentation, and regular shipment tracking.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and review packing list and shipment details.
- Send shipment details to freight forwarders and obtain freight quotations.
- Compare freight rates, transit time, routing, and other applicable charges.
- Obtain approval and confirm the selected freight forwarder.
- Coordinate shipment booking with the forwarder and supplier.
- Follow up with suppliers and forwarders to ensure timely cargo dispatch.
- Collect and check BL/AWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and other required shipping documents.
- Hand over the collected documents to the Import Documentation Executive for filing and further processing.




- Track shipments and monitor ETD, ETA, vessel/flight details, transshipment, and delays.
- Provide regular shipment updates to internal teams and escalate delays or issues.
- Coordinate with relevant departments until the shipment reaches its destination. Key

- Good Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments
- Basic knowledge of international freight and shipping documentation

Experience 2-3 years of experience in import freight, logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
