Position: Visual Arts Facilitator- PYP

Job Purpose :

To facilitate inquiry-based visual arts learning experiences that foster creativity, imagination, critical thinking, artistic expression, and cultural awareness, aligned with the IB PYP framework.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate visual arts experiences using diverse media and techniques.
- Integrate visual arts into transdisciplinary units of inquiry through collaborative planning with homeroom teachers.
- Promote student agency, creativity, experimentation, and independent artistic expression.
- Develop students’ understanding of art concepts, techniques, and diverse cultural perspectives.
- Assess and document student learning through observation, reflection, feedback, and portfolios.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating art learning environment.




- Manage art resources and encourage sustainable use of materials.
- Contribute to exhibitions, school events, collaborative planning, and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching visual arts at the primary level desirable.
- Familiarity with the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based learning preferred.
