Role Description The HVAC Plant Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of HVAC and climate-control systems at client facilities. This role includes supervising technicians, scheduling and monitoring preventive and breakdown maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The supervisor coordinates HVAC plant activities, reviews system performance, manages work orders, and ensures timely completion of installation, commissioning, and service tasks.



The role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to address technical issues, optimize system efficiency, and provide clear status updates and documentation. The HVAC Plant Supervisor also supports resource planning, inventory control for spare parts and tools, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Qualifications

- Strong HVAC technical skills, including operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of chillers, AHUs, ventilation systems, and related equipment.
- Experience supervising maintenance teams, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures.
- Knowledge of facility management practices, preventive and breakdown maintenance planning, and basic inventory and spare-parts management.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and HVAC control schematics, with familiarity in using diagnostic tools and basic BMS or control systems.
- Effective communication and client-handling skills, including the ability to document work, prepare reports, and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field, with relevant experience in plant or site supervision (experience in critical or controlled environments is an advantage).
- Understanding of safety standards, compliance requirements, and best practices for working in laboratories, industrial sites, and institutional facilities.
- Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad, manage multiple priorities, and respond to urgent maintenance needs as required.
