Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing HR operations for the academy and gallery. Daily responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and administering benefits and payroll coordination in partnership with finance. The role involves developing and updating HR policies, supporting performance management, and advising leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.

The Human Resources

Manager will handle employee relations, facilitate training and development initiatives, ensure compliance with labor laws and institutional policies, and promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.



This role also works closely with academic and administrative teams to align HR practices with the academy’s educational and artistic goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust human resources management skills, including experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills such as HR documentation, records management, basic payroll coordination, and policy implementation.
- Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, provide guidance to staff, and resolve conflicts professionally.
- Candidates should possess strategic and analytical skills, such as workforce planning, data-driven decision making, and the ability to support organizational development initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in an HR generalist or HR manager role, preferably in education, creative industries, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws, HR compliance requirements, and best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Proficiency with HRIS or HR management software and standard office productivity tools.
