About the Role

We’re looking for an AI-savvy HR Executive to own hiring end to end and make our HR processes faster and sharper. This role also gives you the chance to teach. When hiring cycles are lighter, you’ll run HR modules and career-readiness sessions for our students.

What You’ll Do

Hiring (primary focus)

- Own end-to-end recruitment for faculty and non-teaching staff: workforce planning, writing JDs, posting jobs, sourcing on Naukri, LinkedIn and referrals, screening, interviews and offers
- Handle high-volume hiring during peak cycles without losing quality
- Maintain a live hiring tracker covering open roles, pipeline stage and time-to-hire
- Run structured screening, including reference and background checks
- Manage offer letters, joining formalities and onboarding

HR Operations

- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave and HR documentation
- Support payroll inputs and statutory compliance (PF, ESI) with the accounts team
- Handle employee queries, grievances, exits and exit interviews




- Prepare HR documentation needed for accreditation and university inspections

AI & Process Improvement

- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) every day for JD writing, CV screening, interview question design, policy drafting and reporting
- Automate repetitive HR work such as tracking, reminders and reports
- Build simple dashboards that give management clear hiring and HR metrics

Teaching & Training (during lighter periods)

- Deliver HR modules, certificate courses and guest sessions for BBA/B.Com/MBA students, covering recruitment, HR practice and workplace readiness
- Run mock interviews, resume workshops and interview-readiness sessions alongside the placement team

Who You Are

- MBA in HR (or equivalent) with 2–5 years in recruitment or HR generalist roles; experience in education or high-volume hiring is a strong plus
- Genuinely comfortable with AI tools, and able to show how you’ve used them to work faster
- Excellent communicator in English and Tamil, both written and spoken
- Comfortable speaking in front of a classroom; prior training or teaching experience is a plus
- Organised and reliable, owning outcomes and following through
