About the RoleSithara is looking for a dynamic HR Manager to build and head our HR & Administration function from the ground up. As our first dedicated HR leader, you will manage end-to-end HR operations for roughly 60 team members across salaried, daily-wage, and commission-based categories.

- Statutory & Labour-Law Compliance: Assess, implement, and track PF, ESI, TDS, and applicable labor law requirements. Establish statutory documentation and maintain a regular compliance calendar.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning with department heads, and implement structured offer letters, background documentation, and onboarding/induction processes.
- Attendance & Payroll Coordination: Consolidate attendance across app-based and manual tracking systems, review incentive/commission schemes, and deliver accurate payroll inputs to the Finance & Accounts team.
- JDs & Performance Management: Roll out formal Job Descriptions (JDs) for all roles across showroom, production, design, and office teams. Introduce a KRA/KPI-based appraisal framework linked to growth and incentives.
- Employee Relations, Engagement & Training: Handle grievances, discipline, and exit processes cleanly. Identify skill gaps and organize targeted training programs to improve retention and engagement.
- HR MIS & Office Administration: Maintain complete employee records (HRMS/database), generate structured monthly HR MIS reports (headcount, attrition, compliance, attendance) for management, and oversee general office administration.
Key Performance Areas (KRAs)
- Ensure 100% statutory and labor-law compliance (PF/ESI/TDS and local labor laws) across all worker categories.
- Establish formal HR policies, standardized offer letters, and JDs for every role in the company.
- Streamline recruitment to reduce time-to-fill open positions and lower early attrition.
- Normalize attendance/leave tracking and roll out a functional KRA/KPI performance review system.
- Deliver accurate monthly HR MIS reports on schedule while ensuring smooth employee grievance resolution.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a setup where you built or scaled HR operations.
- Labor Law Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Indian statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, labor regulations).
- Multi-Category Workforce Management: Prior experience handling a mix of salaried, daily-wage, and commission/incentive-based personnel (retail, manufacturing, or production background preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership, policy drafting, payroll input consolidation, negotiation, and grievance resolution skills.
- Tools: Proficiency in HRMS platforms, Excel/MS Office, and biometric/attendance tracking systems.
