Role Description The HR Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

Daily tasks include coordinating hiring processes, maintaining HR policies and documentation, managing payroll inputs and benefits administration, and supporting training and development initiatives. The HR Manager will handle grievance resolution, ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies,



and partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational development. The role also involves promoting a positive work culture, facilitating employee engagement activities, and providing guidance to managers and team members on HR best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in recruitment, interviewing, and talent acquisition for various roles within media and publishing.
- Proficiency in performance management, employee engagement, and learning and development practices.
- Experience with HR operations including payroll coordination, benefits administration, HR documentation, and HRIS tools.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance requirements, and best practices in workplace policies.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills to support staff and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or senior HR generalist, preferably in media, publishing, or related industries.
