Role Description The Holiday Consultant role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Chandigarh, India, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.

The Holiday

Consultant will design and customize holiday packages, including luxury trips, honeymoons, family vacations, and destination weddings, aligned with client preferences and budgets. Typical responsibilities include consulting with clients, suggesting destinations, preparing quotations, coordinating bookings for flights, hotels, transfers, tours, and activities, and managing end-to-end itineraries. The role involves handling visa-related documentation support, maintaining accurate records in booking systems, and liaising with suppliers and partners to ensure smooth travel experiences.

Consultant will also respond to inquiries, provide pre- and post-travel assistance, and contribute to promotional activities and sales targets.

Qualifications

- Strong client-facing skills, including active listening, transparent communication, and a consultative approach to understanding travel needs.
- Experience in planning and selling holiday packages, preferably in luxury travel, weddings, or international vacations.
- Ability to manage bookings across flights, hotels, and ground arrangements using travel or CRM systems.
- Knowledge of visa processes, documentation requirements, and international travel regulations is an advantage.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in itineraries and pricing.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, collaborating with team members both in office and remotely.
- Sales or customer service experience, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and meeting revenue goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional certification in travel, tourism, or hospitality is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial for serving diverse clients.
