About the Role

Skillzenloop is looking for a detail-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst Intern to support healthcare data analysis, reporting, data quality checks, and research activities. The selected candidate will work with healthcare-related datasets, identify trends, organise information, and prepare analytical reports while gaining practical exposure to healthcare analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, organise, clean, and validate healthcare-related datasets.
- Analyse healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and meaningful insights.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate analytical findings.
- Use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to manage and analyse structured data.
- Write basic SQL queries to retrieve and organise information from databases.
- Assist in creating visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Support data quality checks by identifying missing, duplicate, or inconsistent records.
- Assist in analysing healthcare operational metrics and performance indicators.
- Conduct research on healthcare trends, processes, and relevant industry metrics.
- Document analytical methods, observations, and reporting results.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and project objectives.
- Follow data privacy and confidentiality requirements when handling healthcare information.

Skills and Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of data analysis and data interpretation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of SQL is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python and libraries such as Pandas is beneficial.




- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of healthcare terminology or healthcare operations is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to prepare structured reports and communicate findings clearly.
- Understanding of data privacy and responsible data handling practices.
- Willingness to learn healthcare analytics tools and methodologies.

Eligibility Criteria

- Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related field may apply.
- Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Candidates with academic projects involving data analysis, healthcare research, or reporting are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants should have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
