CTC: ₹₹50,000 per month to ₹1.25 Lakhs per Month + plus performance-based incentives

About the Role

We are hiring for a leading engineering and manufacturing company seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead engineering operations, product development, design standardization, quality, and technical innovation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in refrigeration systems, engineering design, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end engineering operations, product design, development, and technical implementation.
- Develop and standardise engineering processes, design guidelines, technical documentation, and product specifications.
- Oversee refrigeration systems, chillers, condensing units, insulated panels, and related product development.
- Establish standard product configurations, bills of materials (BOMs), costing, and design validation processes.
- Manage testing, quality assurance, product certification, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with sales, production, quality, finance, and project teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support for customer requirements, quotations, tenders, and project execution.
- Monitor product performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and reduce design-related rework.
- Build, mentor, and lead the engineering team while developing standard operating procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement, product reliability, cost optimisation, and timely project delivery.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong experience in engineering leadership within HVAC, refrigeration, or engineering manufacturing.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, heat-load calculations, product design, and manufacturing processes.




- Experience in engineering documentation, BOM management, product costing, testing, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other relevant engineering design tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to establish engineering systems and build a team from the ground up.

- Salary Budget: ₹50,000 per month to ₹1.25 Lakhs per Month
- Experience Required: 6 to 7 Years in engineering operations, design, or manufacturing environments.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
- Primary Location: Thane, Maharashtra.
- Factory Location: Wada
- Travel Requirements: Must be willing to travel to the Wada plant whenever required. Travelling allowance will be fully paid by the company.
- Office Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Candidates must be flexible to extend for a few minutes when ever required on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor the design and production engineering teams for HVAC, chillers, and custom cold storage units.
- Cross-Site Coordination: Act as the technical bridge between the Thane corporate office and the Wada manufacturing unit.
- Design & Optimization: Oversee sheet metal shop outputs, assembly line processes, and thermal design calculations.
