Job Summary

ZESTOPIA CAFE is looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth, effective food preparation and service.
- Menu Planning & Development: Create innovative dishes, improve existing recipes, and maintain consistent taste and presentation.
- Food Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet the caf's quality, taste, portioning, and presentation standards.
- Team Leadership: Train, supervise, motivate, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high productivity.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor food inventory, reduce wastage, manage purchasing requirements, and maintain food costs within budget.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with applicable FSSAI standards.
- Kitchen Coordination: Coordinate with caf management and service staff to ensure timely order delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and maintain standard recipes, kitchen procedures, and portion control systems.

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef in a caf,



restaurant, or hospitality establishment.
- Solid knowledge of caf-style cuisine, menu development, and modern food presentation.
- Ability to independently manage kitchen operations and lead a culinary team.
- Excellent understanding of food costing, inventory management, and wastage control.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Culinary diploma or relevant hospitality qualification preferred.

Salary & Benefits
- Monthly CTC: 50,000 60,000 (depending on experience and skills).
