We are looking for a qualified, passionate, and dedicated Geography Teacher who can make geographical concepts engaging, develop students’ map-reading skills, and inspire them to understand the relationship between people, places, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Geography in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school academic standards.

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and classroom activities.

Explain geographical concepts, including physical geography, human geography, climate, landforms, resources, and population.

Develop students’ map-reading, interpretation, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

Use maps, atlases, diagrams, models, presentations, and digital learning tools to enhance classroom teaching.

Help students understand environmental issues, sustainable development, and global geographical challenges.

Conduct regular tests, assignments, projects, and assessments to evaluate student progress.

Provide additional guidance and remedial support to students when required.

Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.

Maintain academic records and monitor students’ performance.

Participate in staff meetings,



school events, academic workshops, and other institutional activities.

Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required.

Eligibility Criteria

Postgraduate Degree in Geography is mandatory.

B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.

Prior teaching experience in a reputed CBSE or International School is required.

Strong subject knowledge and understanding of CBSE Geography curriculum requirements.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to explain complex geographical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.

Familiarity with maps, geographical tools, and digital teaching resources.

A genuine passion for teaching and student development.

Relocation Requirements The position is based at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Qualified candidates from all over India are welcome to apply.

Applicants must be willing to relocate to Coimbatore for this full time position.

Candidates should be comfortable relocating and working in Coimbatore.

Relocation willingness and joining availability will be discussed during the interview.

Long-Term Commitment

We are looking for candidates who are genuinely interested in building a long-term career with our school.

Selected candidates are expected to commit to working with the school for a minimum period of 3 years.

Salary & Employment Details

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month
