About KKC UK

KKC is an Indian food and quick-service restaurant (QSR) business with a decade of successful operations in India and now preparing to establish its first UK outlet in Wembley, London. We are building a strong restaurant management team to support our launch and future expansion across the UK. We are looking for motivated, hands-on restaurant professionals who want to play a meaningful role in building a growing business from the ground up.

The prospect

We are recruiting multiple General Managers to support our initial London, UK restaurant launch and subsequent operations.

This role goes beyond managing an established restaurant. You will contribute to pre-opening preparation, team development, operational setup and the implementation of consistent restaurant standards. Following launch, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of your allocated restaurant.

Candidates with substantial restaurant management experience, as well as capable Assistant General Managers or Restaurant Managers ready for their next step, are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

1. Support pre-opening planning, restaurant readiness and launch activities.
2. Lead daily restaurant operations, including opening, closing, service delivery and shift management.
3. Recruit, onboard, train and develop restaurant employees in coordination with the relevant teams.
4. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, health and safety and product quality.
5. Manage staff rotas, attendance, labour deployment and team performance.
6. Monitor sales, food costs, stock levels, waste and operating expenses.
7. Maintain excellent customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
8. Implement company SOPs, operational checklists and reporting procedures.
9. Maintain accurate operational records and complete required audits and corrective actions.

10.Work closely with senior management to establish consistent standards and support future UK expansion.

What we are looking for

Essential:

1.



Relevant experience in restaurant, hospitality or QSR operations.
2. Experience supervising teams and managing day-to-day restaurant activities.
3. Positive understanding of food safety, hygiene, customer service and operational controls.
4. Commercial awareness, including staffing, stock management and cost control.
5. Strong communication, leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.
6. A hands-on approach, professional integrity and the ability to work in a developing business.

Desirable:

1. Previous experience as a General Manager or Restaurant Manager.
2. Experience opening a new restaurant or supporting a pre-opening project.
3. Experience in Indian cuisine, QSR, takeaway or fast-casual operations.
4. Familiarity with UK hospitality practices and restaurant compliance requirements.
5. Experience using POS, workforce scheduling, inventory or operational reporting systems.
6. Relevant food safety training.
