GCP Data Architect / Data Leader

We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Architect / Data Leader with strong expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on knowledge of BigQuery, Python, SQL, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Dataplex, along with the ability to drive data architecture and provide technical leadership for complex data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable and reliable data architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
- Define technical architecture for large-scale data ingestion, processing, transformation, and analytics solutions.
- Design and optimize enterprise data solutions using BigQuery.
- Develop and guide data-processing solutions using Python and SQL.
- Architect batch and streaming data-processing solutions using Dataflow.
- Work with Dataproc for large-scale data-processing workloads.
- Design event-driven and messaging-based data solutions using Pub/Sub.




- Design and manage data workflow orchestration using Cloud Composer.
- Use Dataplex to support data management and governance across the GCP data landscape.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineering teams.
- Review solution designs and ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.

Required Candidate Profile

- 12–15 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related areas.
- Strong experience designing GCP-based data platforms and architectures.
- Deep technical knowledge of the GCP data ecosystem.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Dataplex.
- Strong programming and data-querying experience using Python and SQL.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural direction for complex data initiatives.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, design, and stakeholder-management skills.
