Role Overview

Gamecrio is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Game Designer who can conceptualize and plan games from scratch. The candidate will be responsible for developing original game ideas, designing complete gameplay experiences, planning levels, defining game mechanics, and preparing comprehensive game design documents for management review and approval before development begins.

Key Responsibilities

- Game Concept Development: Create original game ideas and develop them into complete, well-defined game concepts.

- Game Design &
- Planning:

Define the game's objectives, rules, core mechanics, gameplay loop, features, and overall player experience.

- Level Design: Plan and design game levels, including level progression, difficulty curves, obstacles, challenges, rewards, and player objectives.

- Complete Game Documentation: Prepare detailed Game Design Documents (GDDs) covering the entire game, including gameplay, levels, mechanics, features, progression, UI/UX requirements, and other relevant specifications.

Define how players progress through the game, unlock features, earn rewards, and advance between levels.

- Research &

- Analysis:

Study existing games, market trends, and player preferences to develop unique and engaging game concepts.

- Proposal &

- Approval:





Prepare and present complete game proposals and documentation to management, incorporate feedback, and obtain approval before development starts.

- Development Coordination: Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other team members to communicate design requirements and ensure the approved concept can be implemented effectively.

- Documentation Updates: Maintain and update design documents based on feedback, revisions, and approved changes.

Required Skills

- Strong creativity and the ability to develop original game ideas from scratch.

- Good understanding of game mechanics, level design, and gameplay progression.

- Ability to plan an entire game, from the initial concept to detailed level-by-level documentation.

- Solid documentation, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to prepare clear, structured game design documents and presentations.

- Passion for gaming and awareness of current game genres and trends.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in game design, level design, or game development.

- A portfolio containing game concepts, level designs, or Game Design Documents.

- Familiarity with mobile games and their gameplay mechanics.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
