Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and realistic product renderings.

- Create detailed technical drawings with dimensions, materials, finishes, and assembly specifications.

- Use design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

- Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing.

- Develop prototypes and modify designs based on feedback, quality checks, and client requirements.

- Ensure furniture designs meet functional, ergonomic, durability, and safety requirements.

- Prepare material specifications, cutting details, and bills of materials (BOM), where required.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to develop new furniture collections.

- Stay updated on furniture design trends, materials, manufacturing techniques, and market preferences.

- Maintain design files, drawings, product specifications, and revision records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma or degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.





- Relevant experience in furniture design or product development.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or other relevant design software.

- Strong understanding of furniture materials, joinery, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes.

- Ability to interpret design concepts and convert them into production-ready drawings.

- Positive knowledge of dimensions, ergonomics, proportions, and material selection.

- Creative thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and coordination skills.

- A portfolio of furniture design projects is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience in furniture manufacturing companies will be preferred.

- Ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, manufacturing feasibility, and cost.

- Experience working closely with production teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
