Company Description Make A Difference (MAD) is one of India’s largest millennial-driven non-profit organizations focused on transforming outcomes for children in need of care and protection. Guided by a vision that children growing up in care can achieve equitable outcomes on par with the middle class, MAD works with young people from age 10 to 28 using holistic, long-term, and age-transitional developmental approaches.
The organization currently partners with around 60 shelters across 23 cities, supporting approximately 3,500 children through a largely volunteer-driven model of about 4,000 team members operating on a flat, distributed, and virtual infrastructure. MAD delivers impact at less than one-tenth the cost of comparable non-profits while maintaining strong continuity, retention, and quality, and is recognized for pioneering culture and organizational design. Make A Difference consistently ranks among the Top 10 Best NGOs to Work For in India and has been named one of India’s Top 10 Great Mid-size Workplaces across sectors by the Great Place To Work Institute.
