We are hiring a Furniture Designer with strong AutoCAD skills to create 2D and 3D designs for our furniture products. The candidate will work closely with our production team to make sure every design is practical, accurate, and ready for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed 2D working drawings and 3D models of furniture using AutoCAD
- Prepare production drawings with exact measurements, joinery details, and material specifications
- Convert client requirements, sketches, or reference images into technical designs
- Prepare cutting lists and material estimates (plywood, MDF, laminate, hardware, etc.)
- Coordinate with carpenters and the production team to resolve design issues on the floor
- Modify and revise designs based on client or management feedback
- Maintain an organized record of all design files and drawings
- Suggest design improvements for better strength, cost-saving, and finishing

Requirements

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) — mandatory
- Experience in furniture design, interior design, or modular furniture preferred




- Knowledge of rendering software is a plus
- Understanding of furniture materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and prepare technical drawings accurately
- Good attention to detail and measurement accuracy
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email)

Qualification

- Diploma / Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Civil, Mechanical, or any relevant field
- AutoCAD certification preferred
- Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills may also apply

Experience

- 0–3 years (Freshers welcome; experienced candidates will be paid as per skills)
