Primary objective: Design and deliver secure, scalable and maintainable DocTutorials product capabilities across backend, frontend, data and AI integrations.
1. Full Stack Product Engineering
- Design and build backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Build responsive, accessible web experiences using React and Next.js.
- Design reliable database models, integrations, caching and asynchronous processing.
- Own feature delivery from technical design through deployment and production validation.
1. AI-enabled Development
- Integrate LLM, RAG, semantic-search and agentic capabilities through secure service boundaries.
- Build retrieval, prompt, evaluation and source-traceability flows with AI engineers.
- Review AI-generated code and ensure correctness, security, maintainability and test coverage.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to improve speed and quality.
1. Engineering Quality and Leadership
- Apply architecture, coding, API, security and observability standards.
- Conduct code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Diagnose production defects, performance bottlenecks and integration failures.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, Design and Academic teams.
