Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Python Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, and user-focused enterprise applications. The role requires advanced Python and FastAPI/Flask capability, strong database knowledge, practical frontend development skills, cloud development experience, and familiarity with AI-enabled application frameworks. The developer will contribute across the complete software lifecycle, from solution design and implementation to testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Application Developmentpwc

- Design and develop end-to-end web applications using Python, FastAPI or Flask, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Jinja2.
- Build modular, maintainable backend services and intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
- Develop server-side rendered interfaces using Jinja2 and support dynamic rendering using React where required.
- Translate business and functional requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Integrate LangChain and LangGraph into enterprise applications for retrieval, orchestration, and workflow use cases.
- Implement vector search, embeddings, document retrieval, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation components where applicable.
- Build lightweight prototypes or internal tools using Streamlit when suitable.

API and Data Layer Development
- Design, implement, document, and maintain RESTful APIs and application integrations.
- Create validated data models and schemas using Pydantic, ORM models, dataclasses, SQLAlchemy, and SQLModel.
- Design and optimize solutions using relational databases, MongoDB, SQLite,



and vector databases.
- Implement efficient queries, indexing, transactions, migrations, and data-access patterns.

Cloud, CI/CD and Development Environment
- Develop and support applications hosted on Azure or AWS, with attention to security, reliability, usage, and cost control.
- Create and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for automated build, test, quality checks, and deployment.
- Use Docker and DevContainers to establish repeatable development environments.
- Configure and maintain effective local development workflows using VS Code and modern Python tooling.

Quality and Engineering Practices
- Write unit and integration tests using Pytest and support API and end-to-end validation.
- Apply code quality, formatting, linting, typing, and dependency-management practices using ty, Ruff, uv, and related Python tools.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance improvements, secure coding, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX contributors, developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.

Core Competencies
- End-to-end ownership of application design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Strong understanding of API design, data modelling, application architecture, and secure integration patterns.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferably 4 - 5 years of software development experience, including hands-on Python full stack development.
- Experience developing and deploying enterprise web applications in Azure or AWS environments.
- Experience integrating SQL/NoSQL databases, third-party APIs, and AI-enabled components.
- Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to estimation, planning, reviews, and technical documentation.

Good-to-Have Knowledge
- OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Azure identity services, or equivalent authentication and authorization patterns.
- Microservices, asynchronous processing, background jobs, and event-driven integration.
- Observability, application monitoring, logging, vulnerability management, and secure software development.
- Kubernetes fundamentals and infrastructure-as-code awareness.
- User experience principles and frontend testing.

Evaluation Focus
- Python and FastAPI/Flask coding proficiency.
- Ability to explain the architecture and business context of previously delivered projects.
