About Hype Marketer Hype Marketer is a web development, AI automation and marketing agency based in Mumbai (Vikhroli West). We build custom web products for new clients and maintain a book of 15+ live WordPress sites for existing retainer clients.

About this role

We are hiring one developer to handle both sides of our work. You will NOT build new WordPress sites. You will keep our existing WordPress sites healthy AND build new custom Node.js projects for new clients.

Roughly 40% of your time is WordPress maintenance across sites like Divas Cargo, Rajwada Infinia & Premia, Prabhu Travels, Shree Mangal, Home Delight, Hira Trading, and others. The other 60% is custom Node.js and React/Next.js development - Pandharpur Agarbatti WooCommerce, WhatsApp automation bots, HypeOS internal tooling, and new client builds.

Key Responsibilities

1. Keep 15+ live WordPress client sites healthy on Hostinger - security, uptime, SSL, backups
2. Debug plugin conflicts, white screens, 500 errors, slow loads - fix root cause, not symptom
3. Apply updates safely and roll back when needed
4. Build custom Node.js backends - REST APIs, authentication, database queries
5.



Ship React / Next.js frontends for recent client projects
6. Own the Pandharpur Agarbatti WooCommerce + Razorpay launch
7. Build small automations and API integrations (we will teach you n8n and Claude workflows)
8. Reply to client WhatsApp with calm, clear messages - same day

You Must Have
1. 2+ years hands-on development with real production work
2. WordPress troubleshooting - you have debugged a broken plugin, fixed a white screen, restored from a backup
3. Node.js + Express fundamentals - REST APIs, JWT auth, database queries
4. PHP comfortable enough to read and fix WordPress code
5. Hostinger panel or cPanel fluency
6. Based in Mumbai, daily commute to Vikhroli West
7. Clear communication in English and Hindi

Nice to Have
- WooCommerce experience
- React or Next.js in production

- PostgreSQL or MySQL

- Git / GitHub habits
- Any AI tool experience (OpenAI, Claude, n8n)
